Off to Fourth!

Parents,
This is such a bittersweet time for me. I have enjoyed your children so much this year in my class. They have grown so much right before my eyes and I am proud of accomplishments that each and every one of them have obtained this year. I couldn't think of a better group to spend my last year at LCE with. I hope that your child reads plenty this summer. Please encourage them to continue to post on our class Edmodo wall throughout the summer to keep us in the loop with all of the great things that they will be doing, or just to say hello. Have a wonderful summer, and I look forward to hearing about all of the great things your kids will be doing in years to come!

Gator Games

Parents,

We are excited to have our Gator Games this Friday.  Our students have been reminded that they should be respectful and cooperative at all times.  Since we have some stations in which students will get wet, we are asking to students to bring a change of clothes.  Students may want to wear a bathing suit underneath their clothes, but they must be covered at all times. Please encourage your child to bring a towel, water bottle, sunscreen and a hat to protect them from potential heat.  Let the games begin!

Proud to Share

I don't usually do many personal connections, but I had to share one of my proudest personal moments this past week. My boyfriend made The State Newspaper's 20 Under 40. He has visited our classroom a couple of times and my students were excited to see him in the paper for such an accomplishment, and so was I! Check out the link above.

Neat Technology Tool!

Check out Chloe's Voice Thread about the 3 types of soil. We have been working on developing our usage with Voice Thread to tell what we know about any given subject.
